Dining Space Source Book

This is not simply a collection of my own dining furniture, but it includes many pieces that do or would make any dining space feel warm, generous and lived in. From a beautiful tables and relaxed seating, to warm lighting, tactile linens and the smaller details that always pull everything together. These are pieces that can help any dining space feel comfortable, where people can feel connected and happy to linger a little longer... Bliss!

Callie Slipcover L-Shaped Storage Banquette

The bench I kept coming back to, and ultimately we decided on. The versatile (and washable!) fabric slipcovers and bonus storage for a space that currently has none... it was hard to beat. For not a whole lot more than what 6 chairs would likely set you back...I love it.

Emery Dining Bench

I always love a stripe! A classic design and timeless fabric - I think you'd get fantastic life from this Emery dining bench from Provincial Home Living. More suitable if you don't want/need that corner hugging feel!

Anton Solid Wood Dining Bench

Of course, the classic timber bench is always an option. If this is more suitable for your style and function - you will find far more options. To soften this to feel a bit more comfortable - simply add a linen seat pad, a sheepskin or a few relaxed cushions. I love the warmth of this "West Elm" Anton bench. I would also look at early settler for wood tones.

Linen Pendant

Being a rather small space for us - I just loved the organic, Japandi style of this handmade Tamarind pendant from Beacon Lighting.  It makes a beautiful statement without overwhelming the room, while the linen texture brings softness, warmth and just the right amount of character above the table.

Ambience Lighting

These forever make me feel like I'm back in an Italian piazza sinking Hugo spritz's at sunset. A dining vibe must-have! I love the softness of the shade on these, too - a total "look for less" moment.

Go big & stay home

For the larger spaces - the multi-arm, iron pendant will just never date! Create that classic modern farmhouse aesthetic to last.

Centre Pieces

Centre pieces are personal, and ever changing! At least at my home they certainly do. However, nothing beats fresh flowers at the dining table and my tip here would be to go big. One larger statement centre piece is far more effective than a series of smaller accents, that you only have to move when you're eating...

Brass Picture Lights

The mood a candle sconce creates - chef's kiss! It adds a vintage feel and a level of cosiness to any dining space. My personal favourites are mirror backed to reflect the flame, or an accordion arm for that extra-vintage feel!

Linen-love-it!

Another timeless combo - A linen shade will always be the perfect mix of ambience and function, paired with the brass... a timeless option with tyhe right amount of ambient and functional lighting for a dining space. Available from Early Settler.
